We carried up the ATV trails beyond Jonesville Rd., then bushwhacked down the valley between Knob Hill and Granite Mountain to run roughly 5 river miles back to the Glenn Highway. The creek looked low from the highway bridge, and was indeed low. (Moose Creek was at 249 CFS.) We did a lot of bouncing over rocks, but it felt like it could be a really fun (class 4?) run with more water. Very continuous, with some braiding. There was one tree across the river that came up on us pretty quickly. The rest was pretty clean, apart from the rock-bumping.
