I put in at Lee Bell which is about half way between Elkwater and Huttonsville. In the 3 mile run to Huttonsville I portaged 4 times because of downed trees blocking the whole river. At the prison there is a low water bridge that at lower levels must be portaged. I got out at the bridge CR 30 in Mill Creek. The 5.6 miles took just under 2 hours. The section 1.2 miles below Le Bell is un-runnable at any level because of the trees blocking and the river spliting into 4 different streams. I portaged about 1/4 mile there but it was an easy pull. The water was crystal clear and there was lots of wide life to be seen. Level run 2.7 ft
