Cartecay

Was paddling there today at 2.6. We were sitting above Blackberry Falls and all of the sudden a lot of crackling and noise started to happen. A large tree going almost all the way across the river fell from river left. Make sure you paddle down the right side after Whirlpool. There seemed to be about a 5-10 foot section that you can paddle around.

Ran river 9/10. Lady at takeout harassing boaters and taking pics of people and car tags. Very rude to everyone. Don't know what it's about but please take care not to make it worse

4/5/11 - Many of you who frequent the Cartecay2 know of the house above Sexton (1 mile in) on river right with the Labrador Retrievers guarding the property. These dogs have always barked and showed their ass, but yesterday we came pretty close to an attack. Just past that house on the little shute on the right, the big white dog nearly got ahold of my buddy. I am not sure about the rights of boaters to defend themselves, but a paddle to the head would have been justified. Just letting you guys know.
