Snake

1- Yellowstone Natl Park Entrance to Flagg Ranch

3100 seems to be the sweet spot for the canyon. The river narrows significantly through high canyon walls creating a wicked wave train to the right, with a runnable but stout pourover to the left. We call this rapid Innocent. There is a trail to scout this section from the put-in. At lower flows it seems to be just some class II waves, and at higher flows it might wash out- but definitely scout first. There are some play spots and decent eddies. The shuttle from the South Gate put-in to Flagg Bridge is a three minute drive; lap the canyon a couple times.
