County Line Brook

Dangerous, river-wide strainer in upper rapid (first 'gorge') on County Line. A Tributary enters on river left; the strainer is stuck in a rapid approximately 150 yds below this tributary. There is a pretty easy eddy on river right before the strainer. The portage is a pain, but possible.

There are two new strainers in the water. The first one is half way down the put in waterfall, submerged in the hole. It's about 6 to 8 ' diameter and about ten feet long. Branches were visible above the surface.

The second strainer, approximately the same size, is located just above 'Big Boof' off river right and submerged.

I've trimmed both strainers to make it passable. However, both have the potential to migrate downstream.
