River Description
Located deep within the old-growth forests of Olympic National Park
and twelve miles up a hiking
trail, the North Fork Quinault Gorge is a true wilderness run.
Although the 3 mile gorge section ends at Kimata Creek, paddlers
can continue on down through 9 more miles of class II whitewater to
reach the North Fork trailhead.
Check out the [North Fork Quinault Gorge page](http://www.oregonkayaking.net/rivers/nfquinault/nfquinaul
t.html) on Jason Rackley's site. There are
several photos along with a good description that includes the logistics.
Lat/long listed below are very approximate.
