This run definitely lives up to its reputation for being dangerous. Did it today when the chick was around 400 cfs. Plenty of water, I'd say it runs more than the north chick, very channelized where the rapids are, of which there are many. Technical precision mandatory. It is VERY dangerous, but also really scenic, decent water quality, plenty of action, runs alot, classic other than the pucker factor. We will be back again and again.

Gauges were also installed on Big Soddy, Falling Water, and Woodcock creeks. The Big Soddy gauge is located on the Back Valley rd. bridge at the takeout. The Falling Water gauge is on the first bridge upstream of old Hwy 27. The Woodcock gauge is on the first road bridge upstream of Hwy. 127. There is no info yet on how these gauges coorelate to levels. '
