Talladega Creek

This is the only class III on the river. At higher levels shoud be scouted. This run is absolutely georgious. It's all in the NF till the takeout. There is a great resturaunt in the takeout. The catfish is great.

The landowners Trig and LaVerne charge $2/boat if you choose to launch from and park on their property, which extends above and below the bridge on both sides of the river. They live in the hand-built house nearest the put-in and provide a variety of services to boaters and through-hikers.
