Ran this section to US 220 bridge in Petersburg on 9-4-21 at 4.9 on the gauge. It was low, but passable with a few portages. It was an ok level after the confluence with the south branch, but still some scraping in places. The river forks as you approach the confluence with the south branch coming from smoke hole canyon. The main flow to river right was full of strainers, so we opted to try the river left route. It was low but passable.
