50-60 PORTAGES! 70 PLUS RIVER WIDE STRAINERS. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO KAYAK THIS RUN AT ANY FLOW!!!!

As of 2019, due to the fire of 2012 and the floods of 2013, this run is basically un runnable. Do not go in there unless you are looking for a hairy portage fest. If you do, the left side of the biggest rapid is clean, but don't go right. From their on out I counted 17 strainers to the take out. Who knows how many are on the upper 3/4 of the run. Oh, Derek does, he said their were 29 portages in the summer of 2018. The nature of this run, blind corners and strainers, (not to mention the many strainers that don't cover the whole river) at a good flow would be a long unwise journey.
