Hinckston Run

Note that the Cambria-Somerset Authority has stated that the waterfall is part of the emergency spillway for their Hinckston Run Dam and is within a restricted area that is off limits to unauthorized individuals.

We tried to run this waterfall today and a representative of the Water Conservation Authority let us off with a warning, however future kayakers will not be so lucky. Apparently there are a ton of 'No Trespassing' signs at the bottom and one poorly placed one at the top and this is all marked property of the reservoir. Pretty much any authority with a vehicle with flashing lights will give you a citation.
