The permit system is now in place all days of the year, fees are only charged for camping in the summer. the reservations are on a two month rolling window.

Permits are required to float Ruby Horsethief. You must call in for Friday/Saturday trips and self permit at the ramp Sunday-Thursday. Next year you will have to call in for everyday of the week, everyday of the year and there will be a fee based on group size.
