River Description

Usually done as a hike up run, but there is an option to hike into the headwaters from a road on top of the ridge.

AS you hike up from the Goforth creek parking area use the path on the left. Once just above the mank and sieve garden there is a fun stretch of Gnar that goes with just a little or a lot of rain.

The put-in for Goforth Creek is at the top of the Stairway Rapid. The Stairway is a long series of 4 or 5 ledgy drops.
Todd Grafe runs the largest drop on Goforth Creek
Blake Turner runs the rapid below the biggest drop on Goforth Creek. The rapids are stacked very tightly together.
Blake Turner heads for the horizon line of the 4th rapid.
This is the 4th rapid. Its about a 6 to 8 foot drop.
