Log in to add an alertNote that the natural Long Channel will actually run for at least a couple hours at a decent level most days due to Duke Energy's hydropower operations. In the winter this will most often be in the morning, and in the summer it will be in the evening. Enjoy!
Note that Duke cancelled the recreation flows scheduled in the Great Falls Long Bypass Reach June 24 and June 25 due to high inflows from rain received in the basin. Duke will reschedule the recreation flows to occur in the Long Bypass Reach on Saturday July 1 and Sunday July 2, 2023, and will post an updated Catawba-Wateree Recreation Calendar reflecting these changes on their website soon.
