We floated from the Hwy 14 bridge (Dillard's Ferry) to Rush Landing on 7/5/16 when the Harriet gauge showed 180-200 cfs. The Buffalo Point put in looked quite a bit more challenging than the Hwy 14 put in at this water level. We dragged my 16' SOAR Pro Pioneer inflatable a couple of times, but nothing that should deter someone considering a float at similar conditions. The Rush Landing take out had a ton of shade and a cold water creek, which makes it one of the nicest river accesses I've ever used. The Buffalo was crystal clear, and quite warm. We saw gar, huge carp, and bass. There were some stretches closer to Rush that had quite a bit of algae on the river bottom. It took us about five leisurely hours of river time to get from the bridge to Rush. The scenery was also very enjoyable.
