Saint Vrain Creek, North

If you want to check out the California Section, but not from your kayak, it's a pretty easy hike. Take 36 west out of Lyons, drive through Pinewood Springs, take a left CR-47 and drive 3 miles to a fork in the road, take the left fork for 1/2 mile to a large parking lot/camping area. Take an immediate left and it's about 100 feet to the trailhead. It's about 2 1/2 miles down Coulson Gulch to the creek.
