River Description
Please Note: The main dam is posted no trespassing by the owner, City of Benton, to protect the structure.
The Spillway is located East of the main dam. A Steep and fast channel cut through slate/shale ledges. Watch for wood, sharp rock, holes and pins. Make sure you have the proper skills and safety equipment before attempting. A bad incident here might lead to access closure.
Nice trail follows on river left for viewing and scouting or multiple runs.
Put in on lake, or just below spillway structure, depending on mood and level. Take out below rapid downstream of the bridge.
