The boating access for this run is an open question. There are NO signs at the put in or takeout that say anything about the river being closed to whitewater boaters.

This run has been ruled off limits due to forest service regs about boating the Chattooga drainage above hwy 28. Supposedly if you are caught boating this reach the fine is $500 and possible gear confiscation
