The overlook at the Sportmans club at low water shows how the falls has more than a few hazards.

I guarantee these falls have been run :)

I took at look at this one and there are small rapids for several miles down to the confluence none are all that big.

Viewed another source, that said it was an 8' drop, Google earth images shows some distinct whitewater above and below the the falls.

Local NPS staff have noted that the falls are 20+ feet, and have boulders in and aroung the base. IT would appear that these falls are not class III. It is unclear whether or not the falls have been run.
