This run flows through Winnebago Mission, Ho Chunk Nation. Your presence on the creek may be disputed.
An anonymous report (2008-04-08) provides:
We ran it April 6th, 2008. This is a wooded-up portage-fest. Someone should walk through the 2 miles with a chain-saw! It would be a fun class 2 run. It is navigable - many of the strainers are rotten and easy to remove, and all the portages are easy. However, there are TOO MANY portages (at present) to recommend this trip.
Another anonymous report (2009-03-26) provides:
The wood is everywhere, especially in the drops. If the drops were clear of lumber, they would be pretty interesting -- a different character than those found on the other close-by streams.

Drainage area at our listed put-in is approximately 12 sq.mi. (as calculated via USGS StreamStats Beta software).
