River Description

There is a low bridge at the takeout of this run (Box Canyon Bridge) that can be very hazardous to different crafts. You can take out above this bridge if it looks too low to pass under. Specific flows for passing under the bridge haven't been determined. Bridge coordinates: 37.77445-107.141245

Bruce Bradshaw shared:

This is a nice wilderness run. There is one steep drop in bedrock before getting into the narrow canyon. The final mile is pretty continuous with one tight spot for rafts. At 1100 CFS @ 30 mile Bridge, I would call this pushy III.
