River Description
Fast, Fast, and might I say FAST! No real drops except two defined 10 footers, but there are absolutely and I really mean it NO EDDIES. Just super fast shoals and wave trains. There are some possibly runnable falls in the upper sections on the main branch but unless it is a Noah's flood kinda circumstance I doubt there will ever be enough water for those. Put in just above the upper 10 footer and have your game on. Also be on the lookout for strainers on your hike up the trail because of the lack of eddies. Bring a bucksaw so you dont have to abort the whole run due to a single strainer.
Note: When I scouted the stream and it was at its optimal level (from visual account) the trail crossed the creek bed at two places and I was able to wade them safely at about mid-thigh depth.
