River Description
This run is a jewel. Tight and somewhat technical, it can collect wood from the
steep banks so be on your toes. There is a 'must scout' section visable from the
road a short ways above the first bridge across the river. The river passes
through a 'S' turn and between several large boulders that tend to gather trees.
It is easier to put in at the first bridge crossing and avoid that section
completely. Take out is at the San Juan River Village.

This is the rapid that comes after the confluence with the West Fork. There is a red cabin that sits way above the rapid on river right.

We went exploring upstream. This river crossing is at least 5 miles above the run.
