Alternate access about half way at County Road 26 (Romance Road) for shorter trip or lower water levels.
Takeout at Lake Barnett at County Road 35 (Gravel Hill Road) off Hwy 31

check water levels at lake Barnett prior to attempting to tube or kayak this river as it is very poorly kept and heavily filled with debris ranging from tires to steel cables and wire fences.
Average depth of river is approximately 1 foot deep with sections that go up to 12 feet deep
Highly suggest running this river when it is full and flowing rapidly as it EXTREMELY dangerous to inexperienced tubers and kayaks when the water levels are low.
