The top section (commonly known as the 'boulder garden') is runnable down to about 180cfs at the boat scrapiest. It all channelizes really well. Definitely a bit tight and a bit more pin potential but a lot of fun. Putting in above the boulder garden and going upstream in a long boat is also fantastic for attaining at about 220cfs.

A view looking downstream at part of Boulder Garden Rapid. A very pretty and fun rapid.
Karen runs a fun ledge drop somewhere in the Boulder Garden Rapid. This ledge had a fun right to left tongue flume.
Martin picks a fun slot somewhere in the middle of Boulder Garden Rapid.

Paul enjoys a good surf at the wave above the fun play hole near the junction of RD 97 and RD 96.

Just after this rapid was a fun series of surf waves.

Morresa finishing the last ledge of a long 'ledgie' hole filled rapid somewhere above Dome Rock.
