Gunpowder Falls

May 20 2019 a number of large deadfalls clog the section between Quarry Rapid and Blue Mount Rd. This created 3 portages over several hundred yards at <200cfs, none in terribly convenient locations. Blue Mount to Monkton Rd was clear.

Submitted by a paddler (not me): We kayaked this river on Saturday July 27th 2018. We came upon five or six strainers. There were three that were impassable. The others were passable. We had to help a family get out of trouble when their8 inflatable kayak was tangled up in a large tree. It was dangerous conditions for novice kayakers & canoers. The river was very high.

Not Runnable !!!!!!! STRAINER GALOR ! GO SOME WHERE ELSE !
