According to the book, this creek is as yet Unrun. Anyone up for a First Descent???
Regional Stream Team Administrator Ken Voytac comments:
'This section of Wolf Creek has some 8- to 20-ft drops and slides in the middle of the run. This run is often very log-choked and very steep. The gradient at the putin and takeout are not good examples of what is in between. In addition, there are are six wooden low-head dams.'
According to the topo map, the creek starts to fall off the edge of the earth about a mile into the run, dropping about a hundred feet in one 0.3-mile section.
