Big Sur

It finally came up again! Sami, Andy, and I drove down for a weekend; the scenery and water quality made for a delightful paddle. We paddled over the dam and took out at Andrew Molera despite a young, uninformed ranger telling us 'the river is closed.' I really wanted to paddle to the mouth, but with the winter rains and near-zero beta on the conditions beyond Andrew Molera made it stupid to do so – strainers would have been a guarantee, and the trail to/from the SP beach was closed to boot.
