We put in at a friends house near the end of the Upper Preston Road. You could put in at the bridge. Deep creek and another stream enter here adding to the flow. Still at 334 on the gauge it was very low. We encountered a few log jams so watch out. The only really bad spot was where the river split into three channels going right. The first two were blocked and the third had an even worse log I portaged over. The IK got frequently on rocks but, I bounced over the rocks. The steepest and most fun part was under a suspension footbridge.
