River Description
Anyone who chooses to check out this run is highly encouraged to scout as thouroughly as possible from the road (which parallels the river, but is far enough distant from it to merit binoculars) or to hike the intended stretch prioro to a run. The run is steep enough, and action is so continuous that by the time you see an obstacle (strainers and snags) you may not be able to find much for eddies in time to pull out.
While it may be possible to make longer runs than what is listed here, as you go further upstream, the creek gets steeper and wood generally becomes more of a problem. Again, the rule would be scout everything before running anything!
