River Description
Smithtown Creek, Pa.
A big frothy cappuchino on the rocks.
This is pretty much one long class IV-V rapid with no big individual drops. Eddies are few and generally boat sized (no big groups). Note the location of the eddies (as well as any strainers) during your scout. Any swims would be a nasty bounce/smash/slide down the river bed. I would imagine that the strainers and pin spots change with every rainfall that's big enough to bring this up.
Scout before you put on!
Many of the eddies are 1 boat or smaller and there aren't many of them.
