River Description
A former dam site now provides some whitewater play where one otherwise would be hard-pressed to find it. Since this is on a wide river, this river-wide site has multiple individual waves/holes to provide some variety of play opportunities.

Trip Reports
Log in to add a reportThis dam does provide good play with several lines. There are two more dams in town; one at about 40th Ave S that I have not run and one at 14th Ave N That is a little smaller than the downtown dam mentioned above. All three dams seem to have enough water to run until they freeze.
Dirty Sanchez can be side surfed, front surfed, spins and ends. Good boat controls is a must and spins should be quick. window shades are not fun here. Despite the looks this feature is not super sticky at this level.
'Bottle Eater' is located on the far river left, it is a very shallow feature that is good for spins and side surfs at high levels. (no feature at low levels)
'Mudd-Clott' if a small but good surfing wave at higher levels and is located on the river left/middle side of the river below Dirty Sanchez, and there is eddy access to this feature.
