A) Downtown Waukesha: Barstow St. to Wisconsin Ave. (0.5 mile)
In the far background of this shot, you can see a bit of a dark 'tunnel' where the river passes under a wide road. There is a center divider pier to be either right or left of. The iron-work bridge just downstream (slightly more to the foreground in the photo) is the end of the downtown pedestrian walkway on river-right, while on river-left it continues a half-block further. After passing the final building on the left, before getting to the next road bridge, makes a good take-out for anyone bothering with this tame stretch.
