This is a very small class III creek with one unrunnable 40ft drop at the end. The class III is small, tight, and has lots of wood. The unrunnable waterfall reconnects on its way down to a very small approximately one-foot-deep landing pool. Additionally, the drainage area of this creek is so small that a huge thunderstorm is needed for sufficient flows. You will a flow window that lasts maybe 20 minutes, no more, so you must be at this creek when it is actively raining hard.
If you couldn't tell already this creek is of very low quality, which is why it has only been done once or twice. It is, however, a nice hike to a beautiful waterfall. Whether kayaking or hiking, park at Windy Run Park and use the nice trail that runs right along the creek.

Kinda looks like Crazy Creek falls here in Harpers Ferry, unrunnable, unless the potomac is up around 20' plus, pads out the landing zone. Good luck running that horrendous looking thing!

erik you are nuts. that is the mankiest drop of all the potomac creeks, and thats saying something. you would want the potomac to be flooded to raise the level of the/create a hint of a pool at the bottom so you land in water...I doubt it is ever run. sucessfully.

Would be totally good to go with a deeper landing pool

Wendy Run Falls maybe runnable despite a very tricky approach. The current pushes hard right to left and spreads the flow over shallow rocks at the lip of the drop. You would want to be on the inside right corner and fall into the slot next to the sloping slide on the top left porsion of the falls. You would then be prapelled ten feet onto a leftward sloping rock for a sumwhat hard clapper and then rickashaded right where you would want to be into the landing pool. Minus the long wedged in the middle of the falls and all the boulders in the landing pool that make it to shallow to even land flat into, it could be done with some rearanging. The hieght of the falls is somewhere around 35 - 40 feet.

Everything else has been run but the final drop, the only drop. Maybe runnable?
