Little Red, South Fork

NEW Put-in: Original put is now no longer available. On Hwy 16 continue west passing through Alread and then Rupert. After about 5 miles, begin to look on the left for Dabney Rd. and turn left onto it. Then take first main dirt road left and down the hill where road becomes 4wd only, and parallels the creek, park where it turns left and crosses the creek. 2WD's can park further back and drag to the creek. Convergence with the SFLR is about .8 mile downstream. GPS parking cordinates are N 35 38.546' & W092 45.910'.
We took out at a road on river left, just above the cable hazard coordinates listed, where the river turns right and the cables use to be just downstream. Including a 20 minute break, the trip time was 4 hours.
