River Description

Located in Frozen Head State Park, the North Fork of the Flat Fork includes a 0.9 mile hike to the putin, a few logs to dodge, and an ankle-breaking 12ft waterfall that requires a great boof to land. This run offers mostly class II creeking with a few class III rapids. This short section, can be ran when everything else in the area is flooded and too high to run.

Hazard

This is the last parking lot at the end of the road in Frozen Head State Park. There's a concrete culvert that the creek flows through that you don't want to take your boat through. Make sure you know where the last eddy is located.
