Tallulah
5 - Tallulah Gorge to Lake Tugaloo(Tallulah Gorge)

There will be an extra spring release weekend on Tallulah Gorge on March 25 and 26, 2023. This is a make-up release for a lost release in 2022. Enjoy!
From Georgia Power: Tropical storm Nicole is projected to pass through northeast Georgia on Friday, bringing heavy rain and wind to the area. Out of an abundance of caution, we are canceling the whitewater releases for 11/12 and 11/13 and will work with American Whitewater to schedule makeup releases next Spring.
Georgia Power has cancelled the free shuttles for spring 2022. Release will be on as scheduled but paddlers will need to set their owns shuttles. We will update with more details shortly.
GA Power will be providing free shuttles for all 2022 releases. No parking at the take-out (it is a construction site). They have contracted with an outfitter to pick paddlers up at the take-out and drive them back to the put in. Please carpool to help reduce crowding at the put in!
