River Description
The segement of the Bear River flowing thorugh Evanston has a small set of 'enhanced' rapids for tubers, kayaks, and canoes.
Surfing is popular with SUPs and kayaks, 500-1000 being good levels (500-800, or up to 900 suggested as best by some), and down to 300 still being fun. Eddy service is good below 900 with better eddy service below 800.

Bear River State Park Put-in
There are various possible put-ins. Some convenient ones are on the upstream side of the Bear River State Park. You can also start your trip on the runs upstream of town. Use the Bear River Trail for your shuttle.

Bear River Park Take-out
Take out at the Bear River Park at the end of the whitewater features on river left just upstream of the Highway 89 Bridge in town.
