Sacandaga, W. Branch

The Class V ledge above the portage taken sitting on the rocks above the main falls of the portage. Not much room between the 2.
Big drop and the immediate run out drops almost as much as the falls through a pile of boulders. Truely an impressive sight as well as a heinous portage.

The West Branch of the Sacandaga is a cool run that does not get done very often. It needs a few more drops like this one to really make it worth it.
