The bottom section of the 70 footer is runnable. Ive put in just above where the creek squeezes a boat width through a slot on the left. After the slot the creek fans out and falls onto a huge boulder creek right. Keep it pointed left after coming through the slot and youll most likely avoid crashing into the boulder.

Clearing the Beasting boof that slams you into the wall......hard.
2 tier falls, 2nd 12 footer pictured
Strainers between Peec-aboo and Last Rights.
Art styling a boof exiting the Alley
Wayne Working right on the fun slide.
A hard landing cracks an old weld job and grows the crack to about 15 inches. We ended up throwing it over the unrunable 70 footer 50 yards downstream.
Wayne Droping the 25' upper tier of Raging Angels
Sam really getting a good launch and staying away from that nasty River Left Rock fold. Kevin styling in the flatwater with his taped broken finger ready to fire up the last 40 feet in Heaven's Gate as well as 2 more laps of Mill.
Eli broke his boat on Raging Angle and decide to send it on a mission down the 70 footer.
Everyone getting into the start of the gorge and the great features.

Sam gave it a go on the last small step of the unrunable 70 footer. A flurry of pitons ensued. About 3 hours later the water flow was up 10 times more but there would be no repeat attempts.
Good move to the boof closing out the 5+ rapid.
Way left striking the ugly fold of rock. He's Just about to get rolled for a face plant. Steve wants to share this so you wont have to go through the same.
After straying center Left this is what happens when you get sucked in striking the Left fold of rock.
pretty good center line with a bit of right ferry angle just in case to escape the draw into the left wall. Even still I slide Left into the main flow with a boof stroke.
This shot show how the area clears of snow and ice yet the ice that settles into the trail is thicker and creates a significant creek side hazard. Sam and Kevin tried for 20 minutes, while we got hypothermic, to run Heaven again just so they could throw really sucky tail flips over the lip of the Heaven.
After a good boof there wasn't enough room for the paddle too. Yes wayne boofed but the hole sucked it all down. A very wierd spot and not nearly as wide open as the picture seems to show.
The move to the right is just behind Steve at the horizon line.
Art droping in finishing the run.
Bridge Gauge taken near rock bottom lowest possible flow for complete run paddling in to Sign's Of Life
Wayne exiting The Back Alley Brawl Boof
On the last tier of Raging Angles the weld blew out big more than doubling the size of the crack. At least it was the last drop....no more boating for the day either way.
