River Description
One time, en route between Rib Dells (the Big Rib River) and Pine Dells (Pine River), we happened to cross over this tiny creek. Looking at DeLormes, we saw it had significant gradient, and looking at the flow, it looked at least marginally floatable, so we went for it! We found no distinct 'drops' . . . indeed, there was only one spot where a 'significant feature' of any sort might be named . . . the gradient seems to be spread quite evenly
We ran just the two miles as described. However, it may be possible (with enough flow) to extend the run by starting a bit further up, at Naugart Drive, and the run might be also be extended down to Hwy.51.
Naugart to Hwy.51 would be 5.25 miles with average gradient 43 FPM.
CTH.I to Hwy.51 would be 4.4 miles with overall gradient also of 43 FPM.
