It’s running right now!

I caught this run at a perfect level in 2016. I just happened to have my boat and gear with me. I have never seen this run since then. I would never make a special trip for this but if your in the area and it downpours all night long without slowing down you may be in luck.

Huge rains (6+ inches in 2 days), record levels on rivers, and this made it up enough to be considered low runnable. Did not run. Again, this run needs a lot of water and the hydro dam to be down to make it to a good level.

Saw after rain on snow and freakishly warm day and the reach was runnable. did not run though, was off to better things.

This would not be a good whitewater run. Water levels are too low (you'd have to walk most of it) and accessing the river this close to the dam is prohibited. The plover from Jordan park dam to Iverson park and/or McDill pond are nice quiet water runs. The only place I've found whitewater is at the Christensen Dam site just upriver from Jordan dam (see other comments).

Agreed, after 3+ inches of rain in the watershed still not enough water flowing to bounce a boat down. There would have to be a good rain storm on snow melt to get this section moving enough. If the dam was shutdown for some reason during a flood event, then you could also have a chance. Either way, a theoretical run.
