In this slightly downstream, more wide-angle view up toward the Waterford dam, you can see the small trees growing on what is often a small island amid the shallow rocks which quickly back up the pool. A few small waves and currents could provide minor whitewater maneuvering practice, but generally it is just too tame to bother.
