B) Waterford/Rochester/Burlington (PnP)

Flow is controlled (by Racine County) through four main release gates. Water passes under the gate (to whatever extent they are raised), and sheets swiftly across cement before hitting the pool below. At times a sweet looking wave/hole can form at the base of this flow. However, the riverbed immediately downstream (in the swift outflow) is littered with large boulders (to help limit excessive scouring of the riverbed). Any whitewater boater attempting to play these areas of outflow will quite regularly encounter these rocks with their paddle and sometimes with their boat. Any flips or swims here would be brutal! Thus, whitewater playboating here is very highly NOT recommended!
