Boone Creek

Heavy rain last weekend seems to have cleared out most of the strainers. I can only recall one that stretched across the river. It was a big log that hung in the trees about 2' above the water level, so we were able to paddle under it without too many problems. However, it could be a problem at high flows. I think it was about 2/3 of the way down the run.

This creek wide strainer is only exposed at low levels.
