River Description
This creek has two sections - the lower is class III with some play, and the upper class IV starting near Montezuma.
From Whitewater of the Southern Rockies:
'the real gem of this river is the upper, with a swift Class IV section that starts off of Montezuma Road, about four miles up from Hwy 6. There are four main rapids in this section.
the lower is a mellow class III with a few small surf-spots.'
