River Description

At present, this should be considered a 'theoretical' run. We have no specific awareness of any actual runs on this stream. However, a former gauge (at Boney Falls 'H' Road) listed drainage area of 40 square miles, which should be more than adequate to generate boatable flows. Gradient is sufficient to potentially create whitewater interest. And, specifically, there is a named falls just before this stream dumps into the Escanaba River.

It is unknown how feasible or accessible the listed put-in or take-out locations are, or whether the stream is a wooded-up snagfest. It may be that only the final mile (or some final fraction of a mile) has any merit. Or the 'brook' and its falls may not provide any reasonable whitewater interest.

Anyone having specific knowledge about this area is encouraged to provide 'Comments'.
