Pit 1: Fall River Mills to Pit River Campground(Pit 1 Run)
This view from the scenic overlook parkng area on highway 299 gives a good view of the falls. It also shows the size and steepness of the canyon. In the background is Hogback Ridge which is one of the many shield volcanoes that formed this plateau.
