Pit 1: Fall River Mills to Pit River Campground(Pit 1 Run)
This is the second of two paddlers who ran the center chute while I was there. Both swam. I missed the runs but saw the swims. This woman hung on for quite awhile trying to roll up and paddle out of the turbulence, but the falls did not let go till she ejected from her boat. Once she swam it flushed her right out and over to the river left where others waited. Two probes was enough and everyone else who wanted to run the falls, ran the fish ladder instead.
