Log in to add a reportUsed Aaron's gage: https://water.weather.gov/ahps2/hydrograph.php?gage=sncm5&wfo=mpx. Thank you. Water was at 4.77ft ~1300 CFS.
2 x downed logs at Sawmill bridge. Possibly boofable at 5', but definite problem at 4.7 and below. Portage river right before bridge/logs. Also portaged river left at lagoon park to avoid the dam.
Otherwise fun clean run. Nice standing waves from Nelly's rapids to take-out.
This river runs far more often than the correlation to the vermillion guage would indicate in spring. Here is a link to a guage on the river near the takeout.

Just to the south tributaries of the minnesota river high island and rush creek also have longish sections of class 1-2, with the occasional surfable wave and downed trees. .
